The rustic style of the place is reminiscent of how Koh Phangan was 20 years ago - very modest, old school style wooden bungalows set on an amazingly peaceful, secluded tropical beach.
The rooms and facilities are basic, but the prices reflect this and allow visitors the chance to experience a stay in an incredibly beautiful place for an affordable price.
The beach is very secluded; there is still no road connecting the beach with the outside world and so visitors can only gain access by boat or by hiking through the hills from neighboring beaches.
The result is an authentic paradise island experience away from the traffic, parties and development which can be found elsewhere on the island.
